Christchurch celebrates World Down Syndrome Day

March 29, 2012
Christchurch celebrated World Down Syndrome Day on Sunday March 25th.
The sun shone, the predicted thunder storms remained on the horizon and there were smiles all around.

A very happy group of Cantabrians celebrated WDSD for the first time in 2 years at Jellie Park, one of the few remaining swimming complexes in Christchurch. As you can see by the photos, it was a fun day with numerous rides on the Hydroslides, swimming in the 'almost' warm outdoor pools, plus balloons and face-painting.

Onwards and upwards CDSA.
